Disclaimer:

I, Naomi, am not medically qualified and do not offer medical advice. I write this blog based on my real-life experiences as someone who underwent ACL Reconstructive Surgery on 11/13/2017. It is based solely on my own experiences before the surgery, on the day of, and throughout my recovery. I may also include information that I have learnt from patient to patient discussions. Anything posted regarding my diagnosis, treatment, reaction to medications, length of recovery, anything and everything related to my injury, is specific to me, under the care of my medical team.

If you choose to explore anything that you’ve read here, you do so at your own risk and choice. Each ACL surgery is unique to itself. There is no guarantee that anything written or opinions given applies to you, your surgery or your recovery. Everyone is individual, and what works for me may not work for you!

I strongly suggest consulting your doctor before doing anything that is not prescribed during your treatment. Information on this site and its related social media sites is not meant to substitute the clinical guidance provided by a healthcare professional.

I will not, and cannot, take any responsibility for the results or consequences of your choices based on the information presented here, links to other sites or pages and its related social media sites. Information is used at your own risk. I highly recommend and suggest that you do what it takes to find a qualified medical professional if you are experiencing a problem with your knee and or plan on making changes to your post-operative prescription provided to you by your surgeon/doctor. I would always suggest consulting with and working with your doctor.  If you use anything on this site and its related social media sites without the guidance of a qualified medical professional, it is at your own risk and your responsibility. As with any post-operative recovery procedure, don’t rush it. This is a major surgery and the recovery period is long. Take your time. Take each step slowly. Your body, or your doctor, will tell you when you are ready to take the next step.
